Learn to play the drums at London's top drum school
There's a reason why we're called Planet drum. It all started with drums, back in 1997 - and since then we've been helping students of all ages and abilities to master one of the most versatile instruments in the world.
Our drum lessons cover all the key areas of technique, reading drum notation, general musicianship and band practice. We'll teach you how to become the backbone of a band and the beating heart of a song.
All of our teaching rooms have two drumkits, one for you and one for your teacher - so you'll be able to see and hear how it's done and play along with your teacher.
Your one-to-one drum lessons will be complemented with extra concert rehearsals and focused workshops and access to practice rooms in your own time. We offer the Rockschool and Trinity College London curriculum (both Classical and Rock & Pop) and you can take the optional Trinity exams or Rockschool exams right here in our studios or online. Of course, there's no pressure to take the exams if you'd rather just learn for fun.
All drum courses start with a taster lesson. This allows you to get a feel for our studios, try out some technique exercises with your teacher and discuss your needs and goals before you enrol on a full course.
All of our enrolled students get free access to our group concert rehearsalswhere you can play with the house band and other like-minded students! Put your practice to work and play in our summer and winter concerts with the house band.
