Planet drum is Trinity College London's main Rock & Pop exam centre, so you can take the exams right here in our Islington studios.

Develop your skills and technique while learning to play some of the greatest rock and pop music ever written. You can take Rock and Pop exams in drums, keyboard, singing, guitar and bass. You'll perform a set of three songs for the exam, along with one of the Session Skills assessments - either Playback or Improvising.
You can take the classic exams in drums, acoustic guitar, saxophone and trumpet. You'll perform two pieces in the exam, as well as technical work such as drum rudiments. You'll also choose two supporting tests from a selection including sight reading, unpitched aural, musical knowledge and improvisation.
